Adding borders to rows or columns to layout

Hi,

Is there a way to add borders to rows or columns in layout? It adds some structure to the page.

there is no API for this. You could just create borders with CSS (css_classes property), but that may interfere with bokeh’s layout and may not work with future versions. Currently bokeh’s layout is being reworked from scratch, so we may have support for this in the next release.

Hi,

I would only add that, if you want this sort of control, another option is to embed Bokeh items in your own template. This is possible for standalone (non-server) Bokeh content using the "bokeh.embed.components" function, or for Bokeh server apps by specifying a template (see server docs and "dash" example).
