bokeh broken when updating to macos Sierra!

Hi y’all – shoutout from Austin TX!

I had bokeh 0.12.5-py27_0 running a-ok under macos el capitan (10.11) on my primary dev machine. I upgraded to Sierra a couple weeks ago and now ‘import bokeh’ gets no module named bokeh.

I tried conda install bokeh and it updated to 0.12.6 and conda 4.3.17 but bokeh still isn’t being found.

Ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

Drew

Hi,

I am afraid I don't have anything specifically useful to say except to note that I've never had any problems with Sierra, so I don't think it is related to that. If you are working inside a jupyter notebook then also do make sure that the notebook and bokeh are installed in the same environment. If they are in different environments, the result would be exactly what you describe.

Thanks,

Bryan
