Bokeh documentation is incomplete or bokeh is broken

Scripts from documentation (<no title> — Bokeh 2.4.2 Documentation), when launched (
python script.py

``

) are not rendering anything. Running
bokeh serve script.py

``

also renders a blank page. So documentation must contain more explicit examples or the boken code should be fixed.

All of the plots you see on that page were generated directly from the code you see there, during the docs build process. So if there is a plot visible in the docs then by definition the accompanying code is necessarily guaranteed to work. Much more likely, there is a usage or other issue on your end. If you provide more information about your local setup and exact steps taken, then it’s possible people here will be able to help investigate.

Thanks,

Bryan
