DataTables.net as alternative for SlickGrid

Has anyone tried to get the datatable from datatables.net to work with bokeh ?
The features and support of datatables,.net seems great !

Will bokeh remain with slickgrid or are there considerations to change to a (living) datatable ?

    There             is

a new Custom Models feature coming to Bokeh, I believe in the next re lease,
that will allow user s to
easily use what ever
bolt-on they want.

                    So while I dou                              bt datatable will

get in to the
core, the re
may well be enthusiasm for mainta ining a
datatable bokeh addon.

Thanks that sounds promising.

When a data set contains text, such as surveys with free text answers, a datatable widget is useful. In that area bokeh can have some more features. That is why I looked further than slickgrid.

If those custom widgets could have a columndatasource as input (and a lot accept json of course) than they can be integrated in a bokeh dashboard and update on selections, I hope…
