disabled property of widgets

Just wondering is there a way to set the disabled property of widgets? I need an input box to be disabled while something is running. Thank you for any advice.

Have you tried
setting your_widget.disabled = True - I remember going
through and making sure a number
of widgets imp lemented disabled;
but I may well have missed
some. If you’re isn’t doing w hat
you expect, please do open
an issue.
