get connections statistics

Hi,
I am running a Bokeh app via the bokeh serve command. I would like to monitor the connections to the server to have statistics about the way my app is used. Is there a simple way to record the connections logs?

I tried to add to my code

import sys
sys.stdout=open("logs.txt","w")
... my code ...
sys.stdout.close()

and also to run my code with:

bokeh serve --show myapp.py > logs.txt

None of these solutions worked.

Thanks!

Julien

Finally, I came out with a better solution :

bokeh serve --show myapp.py >> log.txt 2>&1

But if there is a more appropriated way to record connections statistics, I am still interested!

Hi,

There is an open issue for adding an "admin" interface to the Bokeh server:

  Add admin interface to bokeh-server · Issue #322 · bokeh/bokeh · GitHub

If you have thoughts they'd be welcome to share there.

Thanks,

Bryan
