get picked datapoint

Hi, I’m trying to build a simple ‘peak selector’ bokeh-application. Basically I have a figures with multiple lines, each of them having multiple peaks. When clicked on the peak, i want to get back the data of the point clicked.

So far I only found ways to handle the picking/hover result clientside, but I need it serverside.

Best,

Alex

Hi Alex,

Whenever a selection tool (lasso, box, tap, etc) makes a selection, that is recorded on the associated data source, so that is what you what to put a change handler on. You can see an example of doing this on the server (along with a link to the source code) in the "selection_histogram" demo at:

  http://demo.bokehplots.com

Thanks,

Bryan
