glyph properties change on hover

I know that renderers can set a selection_glyph and nonselection_glyph - can the same thing be done on hover instead of selection? I’m looking at a scenario where I have densely-plotted circles. Right now, I have a tooltip pop up when the user hovers over each circle, but the amount of data in the tooltip is getting unwieldy. I want the user to be able to tap on the circle in order to call up the data in a separate table, but it would help if I could change the color of the hovered-over glyph so the user could easily see what they were tapping. Is that possible?

Hi Schaun,

My understanding is that this is not currently possible. There is an open issue here which is probably what you would want: https://github.com/bokeh/bokeh/issues/1476

Sincerely,
