How to enforce 1:1 scale in screen-space for resizable plots?

Hi there,

given the real PPI value for the user’s screen, I want to enforce a 1:1 scale in screen-space, yet the axis plot should stretch to the available space in the browser window (i.e. changes of window size by the user should change the plot size).
So 1 cm in data space should always be rendered as 1 cm on screen, no matter how large the plot actually is.

I would expect that this behaviour can only be implemented on the backend side via JS? Could someone please point me in the right direction of how to approach it? Thanks a lot!
