How to save a high resolution .png file

I read that some investigation was being done on how to save a high resolution .png file . Redirecting to Google Groups

Has a method been implemented as yet?

+1 for this feature and any work being done on:

"We are currently working to implement “headless” image generation so that you can create images and export them to SVG, PNG and other formats directly from python without ever having to interact with the browser. "
