Is There a Way to Add Legend on a GMapPlot Glyph?

Hello everyone, I am trying to generate a image like this

in the image, different colors represent different rates (For example, a blue point means the rate is pretty low, and a red point, pretty high). Thus, to make the image graph more convincing, I want to add a legend on the graph that show the relation between rates and colors (for example, a red dot – 5 star rate). However, I haven’t find any way to implement it in the Bokeh documentation. All approaches to add legend are based on ‘figure’ object.

Is there any possible way to implement my requirement?

thanks.

An example of how to add legends "by hand" is here:

  https://github.com/bokeh/bokeh/blob/master/examples/models/legends.py

If you have the time and ability to add some docs regarding this other way to add legends to the user guide it would be very appreciated.

Thanks,

Bryan
