Linked Brushing: Align Plot Size Independent of Axis 0.7.1

Is there a way to specify plot size, excluding axis, title, etc? I have a few vertically stacked linked plots, that I’d like to be able to view together. However, because the axis set-ups are different (multiple axis, double vs int, etc.), the actual plotting area is inconsistent, and the x_ranges don’t line up. In other words, this means that although all of the plots are technically the same size, the actual graphing area is different, plot to plot. I originally adjusted each plot manually, so that they line up properly, but this is no longer an option, as my data is highly variable. Thanks!

Hi ading,

Fixed sizes and aspect for the central plot area is on a very short list of features to add, but it is not there yet. In the mean time you can try specially, e.g., a min_border_left large enough to accommodate every plot's particular configuration.

+1 on this. This is not only useful for grid plots, but also for the case where you need to specify the actual plotting area according to a required aspect ratio (for cases where the x and y axes need to be isometric, etc.).
