Is it possible to create multiple levels of groupings along the x-axis as pictured below? I also want users to be able to reorder the groupings by dragging them up and down.

Support for nested coordinate systems is on our roadmap but is not currently supported in the library. It might be possible to create a custom Bokeh extension to create a new kind of axis, but it would take some work.

Wait, couldn’t you create two X axes, stack them on top of each other, and simply make the top one a repeating/cyclical mapping of the nested values?

Mappings (e.g. for glyphs) currently only refer to one range. If the range "repeats" then the mapping is ill-specified. Having nested coordinate systems is specifically to be able to take more than one range's coordinates into account when mapping so that positions can be completely determined.

Could I make it several charts stuck together where only the one on the left has a y-axis?
