Neither DatePicker nor DateRangeSlider works?

I just started to use bokeh, server side bokeh 0.12.3 on centos, client side Chrome or firefox on Windows. I want to use bokeh widget to specify a date range, but seems neither DatePicker nor DateRangeSlider works. How can I set the date range then, any suggestion?

Hi,

There is an example of a custom extension wrapping the Ion range slider, that could be slightly tweaked for dates, in the users guide section on extending Bokeh:

http://bokeh.pydata.org/en/latest/docs/user_guide/extensions.html

http://bokeh.pydata.org/en/latest/docs/user_guide/extensions_gallery/widget.html#userguide-extensions-examples-widget

I would use that as a starting place for now.

Thanks,

Bryan
