Possible to have a custom background on VArea plotting?

Hi,

Is it possible to add a custom background to fill in VArea?
To make something like this:

Look at the “hatch_pattern” and “hatch_extra” properties

Here is a similar example that uses a custom image texture with vbar for reference:
