There was an approach described here:

  Redirecting to Google Groups

If someone has the bandwidth to work up a cross-platform example, and write up a docs section in the user's guide about how to do this in general, it would be sorely appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi,

Is there any way to launch the bokeh server from Python? That is, using a Python function call rather than the `bokeh serve` shell command. I could always use subprocess.call but that seems clunky.

Thanks!

Juan.
