I want to start out the Dialog in maximized mode. I did look around and found a similar topic from several months ago, they were interested in “minimized” and I am interested in “maximized”.
Has any progress been made on the issue since? Thank you.

None at all, since as far as I know, there is no actual issue to make any progress on. It was suggested in that previous thread to make a GitHub feature request, but no one ever submitted an issue to move things forward.
This Discourse is a support forum, nothing here will ever directly drive any development. The first step for a new feature is always for a user to submit an issue on GitHub, since that is where development efforts happen.
