Is it possible to change the bokeh default server? Is it possible to do something along the lines of changing the server or using my own and still having the ability to use callbacks etc?

I don’t really understand the question, or what it is you are really wanting to accomplish. Bokeh applications in the browser communicate via a defined web socket protocol. Is it possible, in principle, for someone to write a different server that implements that protocol? Certainly, it’s possible in principle. I expect for an experienced dev with the right background, that it would be many person-months of work to do that well. I’m not sure why that would ever be worth it to do that when the current Bokeh server already exists, and can already be embed apps into other other web frameworks.
