bokehjs standalone example in TypeScript

Hi,

I think bokehjs is a pretty useful js library that can be used in several use cases. I tried to run the example in the bokehjs directory in the bokeh repo and got failed with a couple of errors of missing resources etc.

I would be really grateful if anyone would share some simple examples written in TypeScript.

Thanks.

Hi Tom

Have you seen these:

  https://github.com/bokeh/bokeh/tree/master/bokehjs/examples

Or are you asking for more/different examples?

As an aside I am glad to hear people say that BokehJS is useful directly as a JS library. We'd be very interested in making things even better: more documented, more friendly to JS devs, etc. This is an area where we could really use help, though, so if you have comments, ideas, etc. (or an ability to contribute some) please share them.

Thanks,

Bryan

Bryan,

Thanks for you replay.

I did try to use the examples mentioned above, such as the electron one and others written in TypeScript, but failed with out luck. It could be probably some required building steps were missed like referencing resources I guess.

I would suggest that those examples could be pull out of the jslib repo and put into another source repo so that users are able to use bokehjs as a real standalone library. Of course, the necessary doc would be really appreciated, the setup guide at least

Yes, again  Bokehjs is definitely a good standalone jslib for plotting, especially its excellent interaction support.

Thanks
