I would really appreciate any advice or examples of how to create a time series plot that automatically scrolls along the time axis to show the last values that were added. The sort of plot I have in mind is an electronic version of a seismograph. Adding new values would cause the Y axis to scale, but the Time axis would not scale (packing plotted points closer) but would instead scroll as new data is added.
Is there a way to support this sort of behavior? I searched a fair amount but couldn’t find a relevant example…
