@joseph_henry The Discourse forum software uses posts to define “quick templates” that can be inserted quickly into replies. That’s the only reason for this post, or anything else in the “templates” category, to exist. These posts are not, themselves, intended for discussion.
It would not be appropriate to add anything to the post above, because then that extra text would be inserted along with the template, which is not what is desired. Since there has previously been some confusion about the purpose of the “templates” categegory, I have disabled all replies to template posts.
