I’m resending this since I didn’t get a response. I’m trying to figure out if I’m doing something wrong or if this is a bug. I can’t get the hover tool to work in some cases where the model is only slightly different from a case where the hover tool does work.
The hover tool doesn’t work in the following:
If I make the same plot but with both axes numeric, it works just fine:

Hi Ryan,
Sorry for the delay. You are not doing it wrong, this is a bug (there is an open issue here). I hope we can stab this issue quick…

Hi Fabio,
That’s good to know. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, because it seems like I have made plots with categorical axes where the hover tool does work. Thanks!
