Interactive heatmap

Is anyone interessed in pushing the idea to have interactif heatmap ?
I mean having a ordering sort on columns or rows.

I did that using d3.js and a real example can be run from
http://bl.ocks.org/PBrockmann/635179ff33f17d2d75c2
The code is available from https://gist.github.com/PBrockmann/635179ff33f17d2d75c2

Let me know if you want me to put an issue on that requested feature.

Regards
Patrick

Any contribution of this kind are always welcome!
We have some heatmaps examples, but we don’t have anyone changing “properties” per user request, I would be a nice addition probably using our widget infrastructure… please open the issue and if you can take an stab on it, great!

Btw, changing the order does not seem to trigger any change? Some bug or I am missing something?

I would add this would be great but it should be five as part of a larger animation add-on. There is an issue I will link when I’m not on my phone. if you wanted to work on this it would be very welcome!

yes. you missed the nicest: the ordering by selecting a label from rows or colums first.
Then if desired retrieve, initial orders from this order widget.

Clearer ?

Just to comment, when I tried (at least Safari/OSX) there was some issues, it did not work at first, and then after it started working the visual layout was changed (not in an intended way as far as I can tell)

I have just re-tested on Safari/OSX from laptop of colleagues and it works.
No hardware specific codes, just standard d3.js and jquery.js.
It also works on ipad.

So don’t know how to reproduce the issues you have noticed.
