is there some parameter which will make alpha only for legend text and not text backround?
Normal:
Muted:
→ this cause inconsistence when background.alpha < 1

@mateusz recently did some work around legend labels and text, that work might intersect with this, but he will have to comment, I am not sure offhand.
If not, it’s probably just been overlooked until now. Although background alpha has been an option since the very beginning, I think this is the first time I have actually heard of it being used, so its interactions with other features has not gotten much attention to date.

This is just a primitive implementation from very early on. I intended to fix this for a while now. Please start an issue for this.
