The interactive legend is great, but when the click_policy is set to “hide”, it can be really difficult to read the legend text after a line has been hidden. Wouldn’t it be better to just hide the glyph on the legend and keep the legend text the same? Is there a way to do this already?

Not currently, so I'd suggest a GH feature request. This would be a great starter issue for a new contributor.
