Memory issue with Bokeh/Jupyter NB

In the last 24 hours I have not been able to plot inline in Jupyter NB. Also, the notebook becomes unresponsive and finally crashes - with a message of insufficient memory

I looked at the Chrome task manager and, Jupyter is using over 2 Gb of memory, but, I have 128 Gb available

The reason I am sending this to Bokeh is that it is not an issue in notebooks NOT using Bokeh. Plots display in line and no memory issue

Below are the versions of Jupyter related packages I am using

Any suggestions welcome (including best place to raise this issue, if this is not the appropriate forum)

What we would really need (as always) is a complete, minimal reproducer to run and investigate.

please find attached a notebook and a data file that replicates the issue(s)

First issue was not displaying the plot in the notebook. I am new to this and from reading the forum issues realise there is a lot I do not know about this. However, it has worked previously and is working in other notebooks using bokeh.

Secondly, the ultimate crash due to insufficient memory
