I implemented a slightly changed version of the gantt chart proposed in Jupyter Notebook Viewer
Across browser (and also with the original implementation) though I have odd problems with Mouse Wheel Zoom.
Once activated, all rectangles will disappear and the graph will become utterly useless. At times, even the reset button does not work and the only hope is a page reload. Interestingly, hovering with the mouse over the then white plain still brings up hover boxes every now and then.
It is impossible to speculate without seeing and/or being able to run and test the code. Please provide a complete. minimal, runnable code sample that reproduces what you are seeing so that it can be investigated.
