What’s the best alternative for MultiSelect, which I understand currently does not work?

MultiSelect was fixed in January this PR:
use multiselect template correctly by bryevdv · Pull Request #3760 · bokeh/bokeh · GitHub
Which means that the fix should be in the latest 0.11.1 release from February.
If there is still documentation to the effect that it is not working, then it is out of date and should be changed. If that's the case please point us at a URL so that we can update the page appropriately.
