pan and zoom tools with boxplot example

Hi. Is there an easy way to add pan and zoom tools with the boxplot example posted in the Bokeh gallery? I tried adding the proper tools arguments in the figure() call. The button appear on the webpage, but the functionality isn’t there. The plot goes blank when a pan or zoom is attempted.

Henry,

Currently pan and zoom are not supported on plots with categorical ranges (such as boxplot example). The upcoming version will prevent the tools from being added in the first place (and issue a warning) but I agree it would be nice to find a meaningful way to use those tools with categorical ranges. It's something we could look into in the future, or of course, pull requests are always welcome!
