Printing and Writing data to the web application

Hi

There are various visualization charts and plots can be drawn using bokeh. What if suppose I want to write something on the webapplication at some specific co-ordinate on the web application how this can be achieved.

Your help is appreciated.

I'm afraid I don't understand your question. What is a co-ordinate of a webapp? What exactly do you mean by "write something?" You writing the code for the app? Users writing some kind of input in the app? Please describe what you are trying to accomplish in ash much detail as possible.

Thanks,

Bryan

Hi Bryan,

What I mean by Co-ordinate is actually on the page itself. Co-ordinate of page. It is for example some Text message of some Headings and also some kind of structure or image that I want to show users up on the webpage.

May be this can be accomplished by doing some changes on the html element of the application. But I am not sure how can I achieve the same.

For example:

Layout of my Application or application consist of below text elements to be displayed on the web page:

Planning Dashboard

Hierarchy Structure

Product

Location

Caledndar

Hope it helps to understand.

Thanks,

Saurabh Heda

Using the directory format for Bokeh Apps, you can include a Jinja template for your page:

  http://bokeh.pydata.org/en/latest/docs/user_guide/server.html#directory-format

Here is an example that makes use of that capability:

  https://github.com/bokeh/bokeh/tree/master/examples/app/gapminder

Hi,

As the error message states, the example requires sample data sets that you have to download first, using the command in the message below. You can also just run "bokeh sampledata" at the command line.
