Programmatic access to the Bokeh server?

Hi,

Is there any way to launch the bokeh server from Python? That is, using a Python function call rather than the bokeh serve shell command. I could always use subprocess.call but that seems clunky.

Thanks!

Juan.

There was an approach described here:

If someone has the bandwidth to work up a cross-platform example, and write up a docs section in the user's guide about how to do this in general, it would be sorely appreciated.

Thanks,

Bryan
